Navamsa (D9) Chart: The Microcosm of Your Destiny

What is the Navamsa?

"Navamsa" translates to the "Ninth Division." Mathematically, it divides each zodiac sign of your main chart into nine equal parts.

Conceptually, the Navamsa is the microscopic view of your soul's actual strength. A planet might look incredibly strong (exalted) in your main chart, but if it is weak (debilitated) in your D9 chart, it is like a beautiful, shiny car with no engine. If the main chart indicates a rocky marriage, but the D9 chart is exceptionally strong, the marriage will survive the storms and ultimately succeed.

2. The Second Half of Life (Dharma) While you are young, you operate mostly from your main chart (ego and physical reality). But around ages 30-32, as the Saturn return passes and the soul matures, the D9 chart "activates."
